Where we are!

The Broken Board is in Brgy Catangnan, General Luna, the surf and food heart of Siargao Island. We're close enough to walk to Cloud 9 and the restaurants, but tucked away enough for a quiet night's sleep. Guests rate our location 9.6/10 on Booking.com.

GETTING HERE FROM SAYAK AIRPORT (IAO)

From the airport there are shuttle vans for ₱400 per person. The airport is small and you can't miss them. Have the driver take you to Catangnan Village and drop you at Bones Lane (there is a street-sign photo on our listing). It is directly across from the Cat&Gun Cafe.

When you arrive, Ate Arlene will be there to check you in. She can be reached by text or WhatsApp at +63 929 179 4506. If you have no local SIM or WiFi, make sure you get dropped at Bones Lane.

Finding Bones Lane:

It is 50 metres past Mad Monkey on the right side. It is a small dirt road. Go down it until the end, turn left, then take an immediate right along the long white wall. There will be a broken surfboard at the entrance.

GETTING AROUND

• On foot: Cloud 9 is about a 10-minute walk, and there are places to eat within a similar distance.

• Habal-habal and tricycle: Motorbike taxis and tricycles are the easy way to get around General Luna. Agree the fare before you hop on.

Scooter: We can organise a scooter rental for you. We do not own scooters, but we work with local owners. Rates set by the owners: 500 for 1 day, ₱400 for 2 days, or ₱350 for 3 days or more. Bikes with board racks are ₱50 more per day. We organise the rental only; any issues or emergencies with the scooter are resolved directly with the owner.
